The senior business analyst - credit bureau reporting specialist supports
the conception, design, development, rollout, and maintenance of a variety
of concurrent projects that focus on the analysis of credit bureau metrics.
The SBA - credit bureau reporting specialist focuses on developing and
refining business requirements that factor in the credit scores of
potential customers when determining risk evaluations. He or she provides
recommendations to develop and improve requirements and processes involved
in developing technological solutions using credit scores to help create a
more accurate risk assessment of potential customers. The SBA supports and
conducts QA and UAT development via the business requirements. The SBA
works with users, developers, QA, and project stakeholders to analyze the
organization's strategic business needs in said areas. He or she will also
provide ongoing support for production processes.
Analyze impact of credit bureau reporting on potential risk scores of TF
Recommend process and product improvements that factor a more accurate
assessment of credit bureau reporting metrics.
Coordinate with business users to define problems, data availability, and
requirements, and to implement complex systems that provide cost-benefits
to the organization.
Facilitate discussions between development teams, data teams, risk teams,
test teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders during the
software development lifecycle.
Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems, especially related
to credit bureau reporting metrics.
Identify dependencies and create risk mitigation plans.
Document and trace an idea from inception to implementation.
Assist in mentoring, training, and conducting peer reviews within the
business analyst community.
Assist other business analysts in obtaining solutions to complex business
May be designated as the primary business analyst for a project or release.
Apply advanced understanding of the company's business needs to develop
Understand Internet and web based technologies as well client/server
Assist the Project Management Office in maintaining project deadlines,
budgets, and schedules.
Support the product owner and stakeholders on project priorities.
May coordinate and facilitate user acceptance testing.
Research new product trends and business/technical processes, and
participate in the new product development process.
Serve as an ongoing subject matter expert for credit bureau metrics.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience
Minimum 5 years' experience with credit bureau reporting in a bank or
Minimum 5 years' business analysis experience with at least 2 years in
Minimum 2 years' process analysis and design
Proficient with Waterfall and Agile development methodologies
Understanding of how credit bureau reporting metrics impact technological
determination of customer risk
Proficient with software quality assurance and release management processes.
Possesses excellent understanding of Internet consumer products and/or
personal lending markets
Uses solid analytical and problem solving skills, and is able to analyze
current situations with new requirements to synthesize into creative
Fluent with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experienced
with MS Project, Visio, and SQL
Desired: Prior experience in technical project management
