Corporate Marketing Manager - M&A

This is a virtual role and is open to candidates in any U.S. based location.

Oracle's Corporate Marketing, Mergers and Acquisitions team is responsible
for Oracle's communications strategy for acquisitions. This team is
responsible for marketing diligence, corporate communications, employee
communications and the successful integration of acquired companies'
marketing functions. This team works with leaders across Oracle and with
the company executives of target acquisitions to ensure effective and broad
communications from deal announcement through the operational integration
of the company and its employees. This team is also responsible for the
integration project management of the company's marketing programs, people
and plans with Oracle's marketing organization. Key activities include
company diligence and documentation, message creation, presentation
development, marketing plans and budget preparation, managing
communications plans and processes, and leading marketing integration team
through operational integration.

The Corporate Marketing Manager is an experienced professional who will be
responsible for the planning, development and integration of acquisitions
from a marketing perspective as well as the messaging and rollout of
communications associated with the acquisitions. This leader coordinates
with the LOB functional marketing teams to ensure that the short and
long-term marketing and communications objectives are met for each
acquisition. The candidate must be able to multi-task and manage complex
projects on a real-time basis, identify and resolve operational and
integration challenges and act as the primary owner of message development
with executives and business leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
The Marketing Manager is able to communicate strategic importance and
customer value across multiple Oracle product areas and focuses on these
activities:

Lead cross-functional teams including development, product marketing and
others to build core messages for the acquisition announcements and
coordinate the packaging of all outbound content
Help develop and coordinate all deal related employee communications,
including executive communications, HR communications and on-boarding
communications from across the company
Prepare marketing diligence on the target company to ensure the capture of
pre-signing material items that may impact a transaction and can contribute
to the go forward strategy of integrating the marketing function within
Oracle marketing
Develop and manage execution of marketing integration and business plans
Build initial marketing operating budget and plan
Manage the mapping of marketing resources and align positions to Oracle LOB
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Corporate Marketing Manager - M&A
Impeccable communication skills: writing, presentation creation, speaking
Ability to translate complex topics into digestible communications
Ability to work in a highly matrixed, large organization with positive
influence
A "delivery-oriented", can-do, hands-on personality with the ability to
work with business leaders inside and outside the organization
Team-player
Prior experience as a Product Marketer in a business software or hardware
marketing organization is highly preferred
Extreme flexibility to work extended hours when necessary
