Account Manager

Account Manager
Susser Petroleum Company is in the process of interviewing candidates for
the position of Account Manager - Unbranded in Dallas/Ft. Worth. The
position will report directly to the Vice President Unbranded Sales.
Position Summary:
Manages existing accounts and drives incremental sales growth for all
unbranded sales opportunities in an assigned territory. Responsible for
managing and building customer relationships as well as coordinating with
all internal support teams to insure that our customers' needs and
expectations are met. Sales efforts will be focused on maintaining and
growing fuel sales exclusively to convenience store accounts.
Some areas of responsibility include:
Provides customer service by responding to customer inquiries and concerns.
Serves customers by maintaining our philosophy of going above and beyond,
supported by a value proposition that every situation will be handled in a
timely manner.
Develops and maintain all aspects of customer relationships, including
frequent face-to-face monthly site visits.
Represents Company interests with the highest standards of professionalism.
Evaluates and recommends ways to maximize profit and volume potential for
his / her assigned territory.
Provides lead generations by setting appointments and soliciting new
accounts from cold calling or leads received through TCEQ, ACT! Database,
Telemarketing and other referrals.
Enter and update prospect/customer information and opportunities in Sales
Force.
Collaborates with support teams to follow-up on leads, resolve customer
complaints, billing/pricing inquiries and serve as a consultant to share
industry related information on any market trends or updates.
Identify potential customers and responsible for growing new business in
assigned territory.
Manage all sales and marketing activities within assigned territory.
Responsible for meeting monthly territory volume and gross profit budget
expectations.
Manage the customer's monthly gallons and gross profit performance in order
to meet established budgets and goals.
Must understand and respond and communicate to management, the competitive
landscape, including pricing strategy, product availability and changing
carrier capacity conditions.
Support and contribute to team sales initiatives where applicable
Performs other various duties as assigned.

Required Skills
Personal qualifications and attributes necessary for successful performance
in this role include:
High School or GED is required.
Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of five (5) years of directly related fuel experience is required.*
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and
Outlook.
Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
