A Director of Sales with Hampton Inn & Suites is responsible for leading
and directing the development and implementation of strategic sales and
marketing plans and initiatives in the hotels continuing effort to deliver
outstanding guest service and financial profitability. This Hampton Inn &
Suites Dallas Market Center is due to open in December 2014/ January 2015.
We are in search of an aggressive Director of Sales who will be a working
DOS since this hotel will only have this one sales position.

As a Director of Sales, you would be responsible for leading and directing
the development and implementation of strategic sales and marketing plans
and initiatives in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding
guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be
responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Lead and development the implementation of strategic sales and marketing
plans and initiatives to include, but not limited to, interacting with
clients, directing solicitation efforts, securing business, operating
information management systems
Weekly outside sales calls to establish a base business demand for hotel
Pre-Opening Sales efforts to ensure a successful opening of our Hampton
Partner with the Revenue Management team to include, but not limited to,
determining sales pricing strategies, developing rates, establishing group
thresholds, determining space utilization policy, deploying competitive
data strategies, conducting demand analysis and managing market mix
Utilize and apply current technology and systems effectively
Manage pre-opening critical path and pre-opening, as needed
Participate in ownership meetings, as needed
Completion of all Hampton Inn DOSM training by deadlines
All other duties assigned by General Manager/Regional Director of Sales
