Responsibilities The EVP, Sales requires an Executive Assistant to provide
administrative support and assistance on a daily basis. Under the
supervision of the EVP, this position provides administrative support for
the EVP and the wider Sales Organization. In addition to typing, filing and
scheduling, you will need to perform duties such as co-ordination of
meetings and conferences, and working on special projects (often highly
confidential and with sensitive information).
The responsibilities will be as follows.
*Schedule and organize complex activities such as meetings, travel,
conferences and department activities for all members of the department.
*Perform desktop publishing. Create and develop visual presentations for
the vice president.
*Organize and prioritize large volumes of information and calls.
*Draft written responses or replies by phone or email when necessary.
Respond to regularly occurring requests for information.
*Act as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies, including
high-level staff such as CEOs, presidents, senior vice presidents and
chiefs. Handle confidential and non-routine information and explain
policies when necessary.
*Work independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing
projects. Act as project manager for special projects, at the request of
the EVP, which may include: planning and coordinating multiple
presentations, disseminating information, coordinating direct mailings,
*Type and design general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, graphs,
business plans, etc. Proofread copy for spelling, grammar and layout,
making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final
*Plan and co-ordinate annual Sales Meeting.
Qualifications / Experience For this position, the ideal candidate will
*have professional executive assistant/sales support experience
*be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
*juggle many balls at once and prioritize accordingly
*have at least two year's administrative support experience to an executive
(if you do not have experience but have the aptitude and motivation to
develop, you may still apply as full training will be given)
*be bright, articulate and confident
*have excellent attention to detail
*be skillful at promoting ideas and interacting positively and with
*be organized and methodical
*be able to take a brief and follow an agreed process
*use their initiative and have plenty of common sense
*maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Education *BS/BA in Business Administration is desirable
*Minimum 3-5 years related experience
Location and Travel The successful candidate will be based in our
Richardson or Reston, VA office. The successful candidate should be willing
to spend the initial few weeks training in San Francisco.
Package Salaries are reviewed regularly on the basis of performance; we
