Head of Operations - West Division
Dallas

SUMMARY
Large national Chemical Manufacturer has an immediate opening for a
Regional Director of Operations. 12-13 Manufacturing Sites
w/distribution. Plants are located in California, Texas and 2 provinces in
Canada. Will indirectly manage 100+ employees, which include 12-13 Plant
Managers. This is going to be a huge career position for the right
individual. Will be groomed for the next level. Fast paced. 50% travel
expected. Over production facilities, product distribution, fleet
maintenance, regulatory compliance, training, and customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Will oversee the execution of the regional supply chain, ensuring
compliance to dispatch and plant optimization. Will improve supply chain
processes to meet growth agenda. Ensure compliance with all safety,
health, environmental and quality standards. Hire, train, coach, and
develop staff. Develop annual location & regional budgets. Lead
continuous improvement efforts. Lead negotiations and relationships with
union locations. Oversee maintenance management activities. Transform
region into a high performing team, providing leadership, motivation and
inspiration. Manage operating costs. Ensure success of new capital
investments Manage Plant & Area Managers and support team within the
operating model.

QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's Degree required. Engineering Degree and MBA highly
desirable
· Must have multi-plant operations experience. Looking for a Plant
Manager that has managed Multiple Plant Managers/sites.
· Must have strong leadership and operations experience
· Must be engaging
· Ideal candidate will have 7+ years of Chemical, Petrochemical,
Refining, or Industrial Gas experience
· Six-Sigma experience would be preferred
· Production/Transportation/Operation Plant experience
· Must be able to travel up to 50%
· Demonstrated experience leading and implementing large scale
change & consistence processes & improvements
· Strong safety record and philosophy
· Continuous Improvement drive and ability to implement change
· Demonstrated ability to effectively lead teams
· Strong Team & People skills

$125-145k + bonus!
