Currently looking to hire a Senior Information Security Specialist to implement, design, maintain, support, and integrate the firm’s security systems and infrastructure.  An ideal candidate will have at least 2 active certifications (e.g. GPEN, GCWN, GCIA, GCFA, GCIH, EnCE, etc.) and current hands-on technical experience in firewall security systems administration, network protocols and architecture, network/application security, IDS/IPS, forensics, encryption, vulnerability and risk analysis, privilege management and authentication.
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform hands-on configuration, administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other security systems
  • Implement security systems (authentication, encryption, high availability, identity management, etc.) to help mitigate or minimize risk and comply with relevant laws and regulations
  • Perform security functions as needed (i.e. open source, hacking, forensic tools, vulnerability assessment, pen testing, etc.)
  • Establish and manage systems configuration, diagnostics, and hardening standards
  • Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments and security log reviews
  • Provide 24x7 support for WS security infrastructure and participate during security incidents and events to protect company assets
  • Provide tactical/strategic security and risk guidance for IT projects, including evaluation and recommendation of security controls
  • Document and maintain security standards, guidelines, and procedures
  • Oversee and assist with departmental projects: provide IT support as needed: other projects as assigned
 
Experience and Skills
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field required
  • 5+ years successful track record and active technical hands-on experience in technology and Information Security
  • At least two active certifications: GPEN, GCWN, GCIA, GCFA, GCIH, EnCE, etc. (must provide proof at time of interview)
  • Strong technical knowledge of network technologies and platforms (routing protocols, TCP/IP, firewall, router, switch, configuration, network traffic analysis, IDS/IPS, etc.)
  • Experience in the secure configuration, hardening, and troubleshooting of Windows server and workstation technologies and platforms
  • Strong hands-on experience with operational and security processes & controls (e.g. vulnerability & risk management, incident mgmt, patch mgmt, configuration mgmt, etc.)
  • Experience with Industry compliance and security standards – ISO 27001/27002, PCI, FINRA, SAS70/SSAE-16, OWASP, NIST, CIS, ITIL, etc.
  • Able to provide 24/7 support during emergencies and/or cybersecurity-related incidents
  • SIEM administration experience is preferred; Financial industry experience preferred
  • A self-starter who is innovative, and a high performance security practitioner who can multi-task, manage, and balance projects with daily tasks

The Security Metrics and Reporting Specialist position will blend deep data visualization skill with a strong report and dashboard development background and a keen business sense to help develop a leading edge information security metrics reporting solution. Working with a small team of seasoned Tableau experts, the Security Metrics and Reporting Specialist will help extend the catalog of business reports that help the Information Security Department on a day to day basis.

The Security Metrics and Reporting Specialist will be responsible for delivering and supporting information security business intelligence reports and dashboards, in partnership with internal business stake-holders, and security and engineering teams. 1)      Mechanical/Industrial Engineering/Electrical/Electronics/Systems Engineering Degree.
2)      0-5 years experience
3)      Exposure to Engineering/Supply Chain/Manufacturing Functions
4)      Ability to read Engineering Drawings/Spec Sheets

Preferred experience:
Product Data Management Experience
Worked with Bill of Materials, ECR, ECN, ECO, MCO
PTC wind-chill exposure, Oracle Agile
Design Experience
