Accounting Manager

Job Description

Parker + Lynch has an Accounting Manager job in Dallas. The client is
looking for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a minimum of five years
'experience. You will be responsible for managing the Accounting team and
overseeing the debt, sales, cash, and other areas of the balance sheet. We
are seeking someone who has public accounting experience.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager job:
* Manage accounting staff along with the full-cycle accounting processes
* Manage the monthly accounting calendars including fiscal year end
* Oversee and drive complete and relevant trial balance fluctuation
explanations to support company and audit inquiries
* Review month-end schedules for reporting
* Ensure that all SOX controls are being applied accordingly
* Provide audit support for audit inquiries

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required
* CPA or CPA candidate required
* Minimum of five years' experience in public accounting
* Restaurant experience a plus
* Proven leadership history
* Provide direction and oversight to an accounting staff for the
maintenance and operational activities of the general ledger
* Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access
