Credit Analyst Oil and Gas

Parker & Lynch is looking to fill a Credit Analyst job in Dallas. The
position will be responsible for the analysis, monitoring, and reporting of
financial exposure to the company's counterparties.
The candidate will coordinate activities both with internal stakeholders
and the company's external counterparties. This position will also assist
in cash management operations.

Credit Analyst duties include:
-Assist in establishing and monitoring counterparty credit limits through
analysis of financial
statements, credit reports, and other externally sourced data. Conduct
initial research, gather
information, and analyze results for the purpose of developing detailed
written credit

-Monitor, and report the organization's counterparty exposure on a daily,
monthly, and ad hoc

-Conduct in-depth annual reviews and analyses of existing counterparty
financial statements
and obtain third-party credit information to monitor for possible
deterioration in financial
strength and creditworthiness.

-Review, recommend, and adjust counterparty credit limits as business or
market conditions

-Assist Manager, Treasury with the monitoring of outgoing and incoming
guarantees and letters
of credit, recommending adjustments when necessary

-Review and negotiate agreements that deviate from standard industry
practice, including
confidentiality agreements and guaranty agreements

Desired skills and experience:

-Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics or
related discipline
-Minimum of two years of financial, analytical and/or credit related
work, energy industry experience and / or commercial banking experience
-Experience in the energy sector is a plus
