POSITION AVAILABLE

Baker Renewable Energy (BRE), the region's fastest growing clean energy
provider, is seeking eager and assertive individuals looking to work in a
fast paced, team environment for the following positions:

· Director of Business Development

This position would be based out of our Raleigh, NC Headquarters with up to
50% travel possible. Not a lot of overnights. Responsibilities range, but
include serving the client's needs through bidding, planning, scheduling
and system delivery on varied technologies throughout NC, though
opportunities to work internally on prospects in SC, VA, TN, and points
beyond exist.

We are seeking individuals with strong understanding of policy and or
finance experience, construction trade backgrounds, and preference to prior
renewable energy related experience, as well as, demonstrated competency in
project management, personnel management and training, technical expertise
and customer service. Comfort with numbers is a must.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibility to develop and manage Client Relationships
Interact externally with a variety of customer sectors and internally with
all business departments
Communicate technical solutions to customers without a technical
understanding
Identify, win and execute projects on time and on budget
Work closely with customers and estimating to develop project budgets and
proposals
Manage customer contracts for duration of project
Manage and mentor existing Business Development staff
Requirements

Customer-centric mindset, able to communicate clearly and quickly to
understand and respond to client needs
Demonstrated excellence in customer service; initial sale through
fulfillment; at least 4 years of comparable experience
Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships at all levels,
including the CEO / CFO staff level
Broad knowledge of industry best practices and construction in Grid and
Power Equipment and generation solutions
Understanding of financial modeling and investments, including knowledge of
renewable energy incentives
Ability to develop creative and unique solutions
Highly organized and detail oriented, ability to work independently and
within a team
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, including written and oral
communication skills
Strong knowledge of the NC and Southeast market
Experienced in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Availability to work outside regular business hours
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college, Master's in
Business Administration preferred
