Description: Firefighters Landscape & Design is Looking for a Director of
Operations to manage the day to day operations of our irrigation and
landscape crews. The ideal candidate will have experience in landscape and
irrigation design and installation.
Minimum of 2-3 years in a Supervisory role. Must be a self starter and be
able to work under limited supervision in a small business environment
-Bi-Lingual(preferred)- Need strong interpersonal skills and the ability to
deal with General Contractors on large projects.
Job functions include organizing the crews, attending meetings, ordering,
scheduling projects crews and deliveries - Occasional estimating -
Development of Value Engineering proposals, change orders and projects -
Working with field crew leaders onsite, monitoring job cost and budgets -
Working side by side with Irrigation and Field Supervisors - attending
field meetings, Customer interaction/communication.
