Financial Systems Analyst

Our client located in Addison is looking for a Financial Systems
Analyst-PeopleSoft for a direct hire role.

What will I be doing?

This position serves as the lead functional analyst in support of corporate
business systems, primarily PeopleSoft Finance (AM/AP/GL/PC) and UltiPro
HR/Payroll. It will provide functional support to the Accounting/Finance
team, lead the analysis and business case development for interfaces,
enhancements and process changes, and drive the testing and acceptance of
changes. Position provides functional expertise and leadership in the
design, testing and debugging of significant enhancements to existing
software applications. Position will work with internal technical resources
and coordinate with functional vendor support resources.

· Evaluates business needs, analyzes processes and creates business cases
for changes and process improvements
· Understands business needs and translates into functional requirements
and specifications
· Ensures that the finance team at corporate, as well as at the brand
offices utilizes the systems
· Provides functional support and administration of the AM, AP, GL and PC
· Identifies problems and proposes innovative solutions
· Develops reporting and system requirements
· Provides system expertise and functional support throughout the
application development and application change processes, including
functional configuration set-ups and prototyping modules in a workshop
· Participates in analysis sessions, providing advice on specific issues
while verifying quality of deliverables for future-state process designs
· Under general supervision, develops moderately complex information
systems, or revisions to existing system logic difficulties as necessary to
meet business requirements
· Develops test scenarios and test scripts, executes test scripts and
records results using automated test tools
· Communicates complex concepts clearly, accurately, and effectively both
verbally and in writing
· Works with PeopleSoft technical and functional resources effectively
· Oversees and/or participates in project coordination, planning, and
scheduling; performs strategic analysis and planning; prepares charts,
diagrams, and tables that depict the present and proposed systems in terms
of costs, benefits derived, and processes accomplished
· Prepares and maintains project work plans, day-to-day activities and
short-interval schedules
· Provides internal and external training in areas of expertise
· Acts as a liaison between technical staff and business owners
· Interacts with analysts and end users to analyze, diagnose, and
troubleshoot problems

What Education and Experience must I have?

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or
similar area of study
* 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
* 3-5 years functional experience with PeopleSoft Financials 9.1 (AM. PC,
* 3-5 years functional experience in HCM systems (preferably UltiPro)
