Human Resources Specialist

Qualifications:
4-7 years of HR Administrative experience. Must have excellent MS Office
skills, such as Word and strong Excel. Must be able to maneuver through
different web portals. Strong communication skills are a must.

Responsibilities:
Administers human resources policies and procedures that focus in a
specific functional area (i.e. Employee Relations, Benefits Administration,
Compensation, Talent Management, Performance Management, etc.) Ability to
work well with individuals and a commitment to organizational goals. This
field demands skills that people may have developed elsewhere teaching,
supervising, and volunteering, among others. Must speak and write
effectively. Compiles and maintains personnel records and related
information that may include personal data, compensation information,
benefits elections and tax data, attendance data, performance evaluations
and termination data. Administering worker s compensation, unemployment
compensation, and short and long term disability claims. Resolve routine
applicant and employee issues and refer issues to the HR Manager where
appropriate. Conduct new hire orientations as needed Process various forms
including applications, employment, enrollment, personnel change
information, and other confidential forms and records. Maintain and
distribute current employee information and communications. Other duties as
required. Ability to work independently Strong verbal and written
communications Interface with Payroll and HRIS Departments
