Insights Analyst

Looking for Insights Analyst for Perm position with direct client in Addison

The Insight Analyst will work with team to analyze client sales and
customer information and provide written and graphical reporting that
provides the insight needed to improve our clients businesses and improve
their ROI on marketing. Assignments include regular and ad hoc analysis and
reporting projects using customer databases, sales/product tracking data
and web analytics systems and data.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform data analyses on various topics, such as sales, customer retention,
website performance, email marketing, digital advertising, from
determination of analysis goal to delivery of key insight and conclusions.
Work with manager to develop recommendations to improve future tactics and
keep the client on strategy.
Prepare specific program deliverables, including presentations, graphs,
reports and dashboards, on a regular or ad hoc basis using software tools
Help prepare for client meetings/conferences by providing data and insights
of varying levels of granularity.
Actively participate in internal team and external client meetings.
Work in tandem with Account Service, Data, Digital, and Media teams on
developing effective and efficient solutions based on client needs.
Provide reporting on industry and competitive trends as needed. Develop an
understanding of the client, the client's customer and the client's
strategic goals and how the marketing plan accomplishes the goals.
Identify new ideas and opportunities for analytic projects.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Advertising or a related field; MBA a
2-4 years of experience in a related field.
Attention to detail and high level writing skills a must.
Key skills include advanced understanding of Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
MS SQL, VBA, Alterian a plus.

Experience with web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics,
SiteCatalyst, or Webtrends.
Experience with marketing, customer insights is a plus

Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must have excellent communications skills
