VLK Architects - Fort Worth
VLK Architects seeks an energetic, motivated, self-starter with 3+ years
experience in business development and marketing (AEC industry preferred).
Candidates should have an established network of both business and client
contacts in educational and commercial markets. The Marketing Coordinator
will work closely with the Director of Marketing and Firm Principals.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
3+ years professional experience in marketing/business development. (A/E/C
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and editing skills.
Motivated self-starter with exceptional oral and written communication
Ability to work independently under tight deadlines with careful attention
Willingness to maintain high standards for all work products as well as
preserve the integrity and reputation of VLK in business duties and the
Excellent command of MS Office Suite, Adobe InDesign and Cosential. Digital
imaging and graphics software experience a plus.
Work with Principals and the Director of Marketing in the establishment of
specific short, near and long-term activities, tracking, monitoring and
assessment of business development activities.
Interact with Principals and the Director of Marketing to identify
specific "selling opportunities" and "maintenance marketing" strategies.
Support business development staff by providing school district data,
market trends, forecasts and account analyses.
Work with staff to prepare and develop standard and complex proposals,
presentation materials and other marketing efforts as required.
Ensure schedules are met and the various aspects of proposals,
presentations and other marketing materials are accurate and delivered in a
Ensure all proposal materials effectively communicate the strategic vision
identified for a given pursuit.
Implement marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing
real estate forecasts, school district demographic forecasts, school
district administration movement, school board movement, etc.; preparing
marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and
organizing promotional presentations; and updating calendars.
Research competitive services by identifying and evaluating service
characteristics, market share, costs and advertising; maintain research
Track marketing and advertising costs by analyzing and entering expense and
new business data.
Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing new
client hits, RFQ hits and interview hits.
Keep promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics
department; inventory of stock; placing orders; and verifying receipt.
Review/edit promotional material narrative for content clarity, compliance
and key messages.
Work with graphic design staff to plan and produce materials.
