Operations Field Supervisor



Catholic Charities, Diocese of Fort Worth, Inc. - Fort Worth

Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Field Supervisor's primary
responsibility is to train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of
assigned personnel, counsel and recommend disciplinary action as necessary,
and the administration of workload assignments to self and team in order to
ensure the most efficient and effective delivery of high quality
transportation services. REQUIREMENTS

 Provide daily supervision of assigned drivers and monitor to ensure
proper and

consistent performance of duties.

 Monitor and evaluate staff performance to ensure compliance with all
expectations and

standards of practice. Provide training, supervision, mentoring, and
coaching to develop

program staff in order to provide high quality customer service to clients.

 Carry out regular on-site, in-vehicle, and in-field inspections and
observations of driver

activities and performance of job duties.

 Conduct field investigations of vehicular accidents involving agency
vehicles/resources,

and completion of all prescribed documentation and communication related to
such

events.

 Responsible for assisting in recruiting and maintaining applicable
program staff. Also

involved with human resource activities including applying a progressive
discipline policy

in accordance with Agency guidelines when necessary. Will work directly
with the

Operations Manager and senior management to ensure compliance.

 Assist in the development and implementation of program policies and
procedures to

ensure effective and efficient delivery of services.

 Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships
with program

staff, peers and agency leadership.

 Perform Drivers' duties as needed and provide coverage for short term
staff vacancies

as necessary.

 Be available for weekend call rotation as scheduled.

QUALIFICATIONS

 Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred and three years
of experience in transportation or logistics, and/ or a combination of
education and experience.

 3 - 5 years' experience in the transportation industry, preferably with
progressive supervisory experience

 Ability to attain and maintain CDL licensure with passenger endorsement,
and drive vehicles of varying sizes and complexity over designated routes
in accordance with time schedules

 Ability to attain and maintain CPR Certification as a certified CPR
Instructor WORK HOURS AND LOCATION Shift hours between the hours of 5am –
8pm. Operations Supervisors may be required to work from any of the
Transportation locations based on business need; Current locations include
Fischer Family Campus, NE Campus, or Arlington Campus. Availability for
on-call rotation, evening, and weekend hours as necessary is expected.
