Client seeks a Regional Sales Manager located in the Dallas Region. The
Regional Sales Manager position is responsible for new business development
in all of the DFW area for employer groups of 10-1,000 employees. Sales
will be made both directly with clients and through brokers/consultants.

The ideal candidate for this position will have established broker
relationships and be committed to delivering the highest level of
professional dedication, performance and competence. This position requires
an individual who is a highly motivated self-starter, and who has the
ability to be productive without continual supervision. The Regional Sales
Manager must be an excellent communicator, comfortable interfacing with
multiple prospects across multiple states via the phone, email, and
in-person. The Regional Sales Manager must be willing and capable of
learning and advancing our marketing and brand methodology and
customer-centric philosophy. The Regional Sales Manager will be ready,
willing, and able to provide the superior sales effort to meet sales goals
required by a highly competitive marketplace. This position is responsible
for developing new client relationships and developing new business within
the specified region.


?Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent work experience
?A minimum of 5 years relevant sales experience
?A proven record track record with medical, vision care, dental, HMO, or
PPO products
?Excellent broker relationships
?Thorough knowledge of the insurance/managed care industry
?Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively
interact with clients, brokers and home office associates
?Highly effective presentation skills with ability to deliver presentations
to all levels in organizations
?Strong persuasive and demonstrated negotiating skills to influence sales
?High degree of initiative and ability to be persistent in order to close
?Proficiency with Windows software, Excel, Microsoft Word, Power Point, and
customer relationship management software
?Provides communication to internal partners and departments on industry
and client trends and issues.


?Demonstrate ability to meet yearly sales goals
?Support long and short-term business strategies
?Support profit, growth and expense management goals
?Achieve overall profit retention and growth objectives as assigned
?Support of strategic business planning activities designed to increase the
presence in the market of Corporate business
?Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal resources to
ensure customer-centric delivery of all related service to clients,
members, and brokers
?Respond to marketing strategies and standards by developing a marketing
plan for attracting new clients that reflects local market competitive
?Meet with brokers/consultants on an ongoing basis to maintain and develop
positive and productive relationships

-Requires extensive travel commitment in the stated regions
