About the Job
Manager Regional Sales
An exciting opportunity exists at Canplas LLC., a manufacturer of quality
plastic products for the construction industry. The successful candidate
will be accountable for development of new customer sales and expansion of
existing customer sales in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas,
Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida.
Responsible for achieving goals established by the National Sales
Effectively manage independent rep agencies.
Expand sales within existing accounts by introducing new products.
Develop and maintain positive work relationship with new customers
to achieve business plan for growth.
Contribute to market strategy by monitoring competitive products.
Recommend new products by evaluating current product results.
Manage appointments and travel schedule in a cost-effective manner
by maximizing time spent with agents, customers, code officials and end
users for the purpose of promoting products.
Prepare and communicate cost analysis used to develop sales programs.
Prepare reports, including travel itinerary and weekly customer
Attend and participate in trade shows to promote and support product
Knowledge & Requirements:
College degree preferred in Business Administration or related
3 – 5years experience selling building materials to distributors,
end users or retail outlets.
Working knowledge of building codes.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and listening
Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Willing to travel a minimum of 50%.
Must reside in the region.
