Western Region: TX, OK

medical equipment. Our company manufacturers and provides rehab
pediatric/adult seating and positioning products with the goal of supplying
life enhancing quality products.

The role of the Regional Sales Manager will be to increase sales by
conducting sales representative activities in the local geography, support
sales efforts with independent sales representatives throughout the region,
maintain and grow key accounts, launch Columbia Medical sales and marketing
programs, implement sales strategies with key accounts and establish an
effective call pattern with dealers, therapists and facilities.

Sales Process

1-ReferralSource:The sales process consists of calling on and detailing
Physical and Occupational Therapists which are located in a hospital,
clinic or special needs school settings. The sales manager will discuss
the features and benefits of how our equipment will help solve an issue
with a daily activity that the therapist's patient is having. The
therapist then prescribes a durable medical product to help with the daily
2-Dealer:The prescription is given to the patient or caregiver who in turn
takes it to a Durable Medical Equipment Dealer who files the appropriate
paperwork with the patient's insurance or other funding source.
3-Columbia Medical: The dealer then orders the product from Columbia
Medical. Some of the rehab dealers have their own reps who also call on the


Ø Perform the role of a sales representative in the local geography
Ø Support and maintain a call pattern with independent sales
Ø Store, transport and demonstrate equipment
Ø Establish and maintain the Customer Relationship Management System
Ø Monitor and maintain relationships with key accounts
Ø Communicate marketing trends and competitive activity and make
appropriate recommendations
Ø Participate in regional and national sales conventions/trade shows
Ø Participate in local and regional CEU Columbia Medical training
Ø Execute all administrative duties within identified timeframes

Ø 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably medical DME, rehab, RTS or
Ø 4 year college degree
Ø Must be able to travel 50% of the time
Ø Must have a mini-van, SUV or van. Car allowance provided.
Ø Able to handle physical moving and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Other Requirements:
Ø Must have a valid drivers license and be insured
Ø Utilize Microsoft Office
Ø Enjoy working independently and in a team environment
Ø Must be able to pass a pre-employment background
