Reservoir Engineer Business Development

Primary Objective: Supports Business Development Manager in the
preparation of acquisition and divestiture evaluations and economics.
Major Functions and Scope:
Evaluates assets located in various basins in the United States for
potential acquisition or strategic trades. Quickly assess economic
evaluations completed by third parties or other companies and translates
economic modeling to Aries standards.
Works with internal Asset Teams and Technical Teams to create
economic modeling and gain agreement on asset values, by using type curves,
drilling schedules, expenses and capital assumptions.
Ability to run Aries for evaluating multiple economic scenarios and
sensitivities rapidly.
Assess and use third-party data to aid in evaluations.
Create and make presentations to senior management for decision
making process.
Knowledge, Experience, Competencies and Supervision:
Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, or other appropriate
engineering discipline.
Minimum of 10 years experience in oil and gas exploration and
production, preferably experience in acquisition and divestiture
evaluations and shale basins in United States.
High degree of integrity and business ethics.
Thorough knowledge of reservoir engineering.
High computer literacy advanced ARIES ability required.
Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects, adhering to strict

Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
Able to work effectively with cross functional groups in solving
business problems.
