Senior Sales Representative

Dallas; Austin

Our company is backed by an international firm and is expanding our
business in US and Canada. We are looking for a seasoned hunter to join our
team as a Senior Sales Engineer to grow our client base in Dallas/Austin.

*This is a remote position for a true sales hunter- previous outside sales
experience required!
What You Will Be Doing
- Create RFPs, RFQs and presentations for high-level executives at
potential business clients
- Work with Pre Sales Engineers to create POCs and customized demos for
potential clients
- Directly support the VP of Sales in driving an accurate sales forecast
- Provide your expertise in the Dallas/Houston/Austin territory and make
recommendations for improvements where necessary
- Offer strong technical knowledge of competitors in open source
technologies, development operations and continuous integration
What You Need for this Position
- 10+ years of proven expertise in technical/software sales
- Ability to work under minimal supervision on high-level projects and
sales presentations
- Background in open source technologies like Puppet, Chef and Salt.
- Industry knowledge of cloud computing, networking, and technologies like
Websphere, JBoss and Chef
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas continuously
