Syneren is currently seeking a full-time SQL Programmer to join the
technical team supporting our National Weather Service customer in Ft
Worth, Texas. The ideal candidate thrives in a team atmosphere, takes pride

approach. The candidate must also be able to provide specialized database
support by performing database conversion programming, application
programming, and migration of an application interface from a desktop to a
thin client/terminal server environment We desire a motivated, customer

supporting Federal customers with respect to database programming support
services. We seek a candidate who has the ability to contribute to team
efforts; and who can adapt quickly to new environments and technology.

In this position, the successful candidate has a tremendous opportunity to

members. He/she will be expected to perform the following tasks/functions
and will work independently but with some guidance from senior staff.

A Government Contractor has an immediate opportunity available for a SQL
Programmer/Analyst (C#, SQL, and .Net) to join our team, located in Ft
Worth.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Conversion of existing Access database to a Microsoft SQL Server (2014)
database and ASP.Net MVC web application
Programming to make interfaces intuitive for users and evaluate current
database capability against emerging requirements
Development of application interfaces to fulfill requirements of users and
create tables and and/or queries to accommodate user needs
Perform application programming to convert business intelligence processes
Writing web based interactive queries and documentation for converted
queries and programming
Perform using a Microsoft Visual Studio software development environment
Support security scanning including penetration testing exercises to
improve software based security evaluation
Provide recommendations for user access data and report front ends
Writing and updating computer programs or software packages to handle
specific jobs such as calculations, storing or retrieving data, or
controlling other equipment as required. This involves creating, testing,
maintaining, repairing, or enhancing programs per the specifications
normally provided by other staff.
Consulting with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify
program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes.
Correcting errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the program
to ensure that the desired results are produced.
Conducting trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they
will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct.
Compiling and writing documentation of program development and subsequent
revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can
understand the program.
Preparing required documentation, including block diagrams, logic flow
charts, and software program documentation.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology systems, engineering or a
related field
3 to 5 years of relevant experience
Microsoft Solutions Developer: Web Applications certification
Experience/proficiency with Visual Basic, Microsoft SQL Server and Access
