Sr Environmental Project Mgr

AEI Consultants - Dallas

AEI Consultants is currently seeking a full time Senior Environmental
Project Manager in our Site Mitigation division in our Texas Region. The
successful candidate is a Geologist or Engineer with approximately 7 to 10
plus years of experience in performing and managing Environmental
Subsurface Investigation and Remedial Investigation services, and will have
demonstrated success implementing this work in the context of
deadline-oriented Environmental Due Diligence markets, property
development, as regulated sites. We seek a professional addition to our
team to implement client engagements, support AEI's growth, and lead the
expansion of our service offering in the area.

The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and

Environmental due diligence investigations (Phase II assessments), site
characterization, and Brownfields and development consulting;
Soil, groundwater, and soil vapor investigations, including project design
and estimating, field techniques, and reporting, with up-to-date knowledge
of best practices and the regulatory environment; remediation planning and
implementation a plus;
Experience and willingness to build and lead a team of staff and
professionals on a range of relevant project types;
Licensure in Texas as a Geologist or Engineer required;
Practical experience with and relevant knowledge of State and Federal
environmental laws and regulations; experience and good rapport with TCEQ
Strong network of vendors and independent industry professionals;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong business acumen;
Experience managing project teams with the flexibility to work in a team
environment and as an individual contributor; willingness and ability to
perform a wide range of project tasks, as necessary (i.e., client
management, cost estimating, business development support, field work,
report writing and review, etc.); and ability to critically think through a
project from conception to completion;
A self-starter, resourceful, with an attention to detail and the ability to
work productively and independently on multiple projects under strict
Current OSHA 40-hour "HAZWOPER" training certification required; additional
Health and Safety training a plus; and
Bachelor's Degree or higher in geology, environmental engineering, or
similar field.

This position requires the ability to conduct site inspections, such as
inspecting exterior and interior aspects of a property, climbing ladders,
physically traversing large parcels of land, and remaining in the field for
extended periods of time, which includes the collection of subsurface
samples potentially containing hazardous contaminants. Can you meet these
