System Administrator for our preferred client in their Ft. Worth location.
The qualified candidate will possess 5 years of experience in three major
areas, including: Linux Administration, Enterprise Message Bus, and ability
to manage Messaging Systems.
Responsibilities for this Position Include:
Supporting the management, configuration, deployment, and testing of the
PTC ITCM Back office and remote messaging systems. This position will be
responsible for the day-to-day management of the back office ITCM messaging
system including but not limited to, documentation, testing, configuration
changes, topology updates, and problem resolution/trouble shooting. This
position will also be required to coordinate and run test cases in our
development environments along with documenting and reporting on the
results of those tests.
Plan and coordinating updates, outages, maintenance windows, and any other
activities that could impact the availability of the messaging system.
Design and plan processes and procedures that increase system reliability
and availability; establish, test and review disaster recovery policies and
Maintain and optimize system performance and efficiency through monitoring,
analysis and performance tuning, maintaining documentation.
Lead root cause analysis of system hardware, software, operating and
Function in both team and independent work environments.
Bachelor's Degree in a Technology related discipline and/or at least 4-5
years of related experience in Information Technology for critical
3+ years Linux experience
Basic System Administration skills, any type of Enterprise Message Bus
(JMS, Rabbit MQ, IBM MQ, etc)
