Technical Support Engineer


We are an innovative, rapidly growing firm on the cutting edge of Big Data
and predictive analytics. We're currently searching for an experienced
Technical Support Engineer to work with and answer questions from corporate
purchasers of our data analytics packages. You're not required to be a Big
Data expert, but a solid understanding of Linux system administration and a
background in technical support means you're probably a great fit. In

What You Will Be Doing
Assisting a variety of questions from corporate and academic purchasers of
our predictive analytics software package
Aid our clients in the installation, configuration and usage of our products
Work with our broader technical and support team
What You Need for this Position
Linux System administration experience- Red Hat and/or CentOS would be great
Familiarity with the installation, support and overall use of
enterprise-level applications in Linux, including security issues
Familiarity with relational databases, being a Hadoop Admin a plus
Basic scripting skills
Experience with some level of statistical analysis- even academic
experience would be OK. Knowledge of R, SAS, Matlab, SPSS would be fantastic
