JASCO has an exciting new position open due to the tremendous growth in our
Emerging Technologies category combined with opportunities in alternative
channels. We are looking for a qualified Business Development Manager to:
· identify/solicit major account opportunities in alternative
channels such as Electrical and Home Security distributors, MSO/Cable
Companies, Telco/Cellular Carriers, and Satellite Companies;
· identify/solicit new account opportunities for mesh network
connected-home opportunities - both Z-Wave and ZigBee;
· increase annual revenues of embedded account base of electrical /
home security distributors and Z-Wave customers via additional product
placement; this would be a result of proper research of current
customer(s), and subsequent strategic presentation of other products within
Jasco's entire portfolio of products.

Experience selling to one or more of the channels listed above is
preferred. We are looking for a committed and determined self-starter with
excellent work habits; quick-learner; able to work independently yet
open-minded to development; and disciplined for a home-office environment.

Some specific duties may include:
· Initiating, strengthening, and maintaining strategic alliances
with industry partners who are key to developing and maintaining Jasco's
leadership position within Emerging Technologies industry;
· Working with Director of Sales to develop account specific plans
and goals;
· Interact with customers on a daily basis and providing a level of
excellence in product knowledge, consultative selling, issue resolution,
and relationship development;
· Prepare sales forecasts by product and for individual accounts;
· Working closely with product management to co-lead product
development to meet key initiatives of emerging channel customer base;
· Maintaining knowledge and information on events affecting the
Emerging Technologies industries including industry trends and competitive

· A minimum of five years sales experience is required with
preferred experience selling to one or more of the channels listed above.
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
· Candidate must be able to travel approximately 25% to meet with
customers or prospects, and for specific industry events. US travel only,
with the possibility of Canada.
· Position is home-based and located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area
(or possibly Houston). Only local candidates will be considered.
