Job Overview:
Develops and manages systems configuration of the registration process.
Handles registration sites for major national events such as High Adventure
Bases, National Jamboree, International Jamboree, Law Enforcement Explorer
Conferences, NOAC conference, and other events. Designs, develops and
delivers training of the event systems.

Primary Responsibilities:
Oversees program registration system applications for national events that
meet the needs of the internal customers to include: system configuration,
addressing problems and resolving issues.

Monitors systems for duration of the event and ensures the system programs
are operating correctly. Resolves issues and makes significant changes to
the system/applications as needed.

Provides customer support to ensure that policies and procedures are
followed. Performs all functions to support members with registration
forms. Answers questions, handles escalated registration issues, performs
data audits and reports process.

Configures, designs, develops and delivers training of the system -
specifically for each event. Collaborates with managers to design the
registration event management process.

Attends events as needed and manages on-site registration process.

Collaborates with the Information Delivery Group to ensure interface with
the National system is operating correctly. Manages registration site tool
once live to ensure all functions are working properly.

Reviews and reconciles monetary transactions and collaborates with the
accounting department as needed.

Qualifications/ Experience:
A self-starter with ability to multi-task and handle high-volume workload
under pressure. Excellent customer service skills are required. Must have
the ability to keep sensitive data confidential.

Associate's degree or some advance education is highly desired.

Five or more years of National event management experience required.

Knowledge and experience with Certain Event Management Software or similar
software is preferred.

Must be able to travel 20% of the calendar year.

Knowledge of BSA National events and operations is a plus.
