Payroll Supervisor

We are currently seeking a highly qualified Payroll Supervisor/ Manager.
The successful individual will lead a team of 2 to 3 payroll associates.

Responsibilities
Supervise a team of 2-3 payroll associates in weekly and bi-weekly handling
various payroll aspects including garnishments, 401(k),purchase plans,
direct deposits, compensation and benefits in accordance with federal and
state withholding requirements.
Work with Payroll Manager to ensure proper internal controls and
maintenance of documentation for audit and tax purposes
Establishes payroll work procedures and work schedules
Maintains the processing of time clock data
Operate as the subject matter expert and escalation point to resolve issues
Communicate actively with Finance, and other accounting departments with
payroll related information and
Multi task, prioritize and delegate work to manage team workload effectively
Develop and maintain written policies and procedures
Manage hiring, termination, review, and training

Qualifications
Associates/ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
7+ years' experience with payroll
Corporate Setting experience. Payroll of over 5,000 employees
Required 2+ years of managing experience of at least 2 people.
Multiple state experience
In depth knowledge of multi- state employment law as it relates to payroll
Experience in supervising various payroll issues such as garnishments,
equity compensation, 401 (k), and incentive plans.
