Quality Manager

Luminator Technology Group (LTG) is a $230M global business with operations
in the U.S. (Luminator, Twin Vision), Germany (LAWO), Denmark (Focon
Electronic Systems A/) and Mobitec, Australia, Brazil, Singapore, Sweden,
India (Mobitec), and China. LTG is a leading manufacturer and integrator of
LED-based display and lighting technology, providing integrated LED-based
systems to a wide range of customers in the bus, rail and aircraft
transportation segments. Our Luminator, Twin Vision, and Mobitec products
include destination signage, integrated communication systems designed for
passenger information, safety and entertainment, and architecturally
customized interior lighting. Additionally, we make exterior navigation
lights and searchlights including interior signage for aerospace.

Position Summary:
Responsibilities will include:
Encourage and lead continual quality improvement activities
Maintain quality metrics and report on a regular basis
Obtain data on and address production quality problems and customer RMA's
Work closely with Operations, Production, Engineering and Program
Management to meet their quality and delivery targets
Coach/mentor Operations teams on corrective & preventative actions to meet
and maintain performance and quality goals
Participate in design reviews and establish a means for "Lessons Learned"
from previous new product launches
Developing acceptance test plans, modifying existing quality procedures and
developing new procedures as needed
Auditing internal business and manufacturing processes as well as external
Root cause analysis, corrective action determination, implementation and
reporting, detailed statistical/trend analysis
Lead process improvement projects with a focus on results and timeliness

Experience and Skills Summary:

Knowledgeable of pertinent regulations, directives, standards, and guidance
materials for aviation manufactured parts, such as FAA CFR's Part 21, Part
45, and Part 145
Boeing experience is a plus
Experience maintaining a PMA approval program, supervising DMIRs, and FAA
repair station inspection requirements
Experience with sustaining engineering efforts, ECO process, MRB, quality
assurance inspection methods and techniques used in incoming inspection,
First Article, In-Process, Final Assembly, and Airworthiness Approvals
Technical knowledge and experience in the production and inspection of
products with a similar type and complexity as those manufactured by
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:The successful candidate must have BS/BA degree or
equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of experience in aviation
manufacturing and quality inspection environment or equivalent other
