Single Family Portfolio


We are a multi-state owner, operator and third party manager of single
family rental housing. The Company operates in California, Nevada, and
Illinois with near-term expansion efforts currently underway in the
Southeast, Midwest, Arizona and Texas. As of May 2014, we have assets under
management exceeding $500 million across a portfolio of approximately 3,000
homes with partners and clients consisting of Wall Street private equity
firms and investment banks, family office groups and private syndicates.

As we build our executive team we are looking for a Regional Property
Manager for our Dallas portfolio. The Regional Property Manager is a member
of the Property Management department and provides direct oversight to all
property and resident-level activities within the market, which consists of
approximately 1,500 rental units, including marketing, leasing, resident
management, rent collection and semi-annual property inspections. In
addition, the dynamic leader filling this role will be responsible for the
professional development of a team of property managers and leasing agents.

What You Will Be Doing
- Oversees all marketing and leasing activities in the MSA; works
collaboratively with the Director of Leasing to set all asking rents
- Direct responsibility for all aspects of the MSA's Profit and Loss
Statement, including but not limited to rental collections, delinquency
rates, portfolio occupancy rate, repairs and maintenance expenditures,
capital expense planning, unit turn costs, etc.
- Manages team of subordinate property managers, leasing agents and
property administrators of approximately 20 employees located in 3 field
offices strategically positioned in the MSA
- Approves all resident applications and directly manages rent roll
- Sets all standards for resident management and communication process
- Develops program for efficient and productive execution of home showings
- Evaluates resident maintenance requests, determines landlord
responsibility and effectuates compliance pursuant to language of lease

- Active Texas broker's license is a big PLUS
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a Senior or Regional Property Manager
position at a nationally recognized REIT or property management firm
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, extreme attention to detail
and high performance standards for self and employees
- Ability to multi-task within dynamic entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to meet established portfolio budgets and timelines
- Must possess mastery of Microsoft Excel, Word and Yardi Voyager
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in managing multiple staff members over a large geographic
