Reperio, Inc., a Boston based Executive Search Firm, has been engaged by
one of its clients to conduct a search for a Senior Director of Technology
to be located in their Dallas office. Our client is a global leader in
CRM, Digital and Direct Marketing.

The Senior Director, Technology will be responsible for development and
maintenance of an enterprise marketing system including web applications,
transaction system, database, and reporting systems. Responsible for
leading and directing the development team to include project management
and resource allocation of technical teams, leading application development
enhancements as well as platform technical design and maintenance. The
Senior Director, Technology will work with Relationship Managers and
technical management on customized solutions to clients based on a common
core architecture and code base. These development projects include
requirements definition, resource allocation, pricing, delivery,
deployment, and acceptance testing. Most development is done on the .NET
platform with an Oracle database. This role will also be involved in
defining, creating and/or presenting proof-of-concept demos and sales

The right candidate will have been a senior level Software Architect or a
Software Development Manager within a mid-sized or large company. The
Senior Director, Technology will understand how to assess both the existing
talent pool, and also understand how to select the right talent moving
forward. This is a leadership role with 20% or less hands-on technical
development. We are looking for someone that is comfortable in client
facing, business and technical settings.

Educational Requirements / Experience:
Bachelor's degree in MIS or related field.
Strong technical development background.
Ten plus years relevant experience including client facing duties.
Five plus years leading a development team of at least 10 total resources.
Five plus years working with OLTP/OLAP systems on Oracle Databases.
Knowledge of marketing strategies and analytic driven solutions is a plus.
Past experience in managing an application development team focused
using .NET, ASP.NET, VB, C#, PL/SQL, SOAP, SOA, is required.
Open to travel less than 10%.
The ideal candidate will have a combination of Financial Services and CRM /
Database Marketing experience.
