Our client has an opening for a Senior Inventory Control Analyst.
As the Senior Inventory Control Analyst, responsibilities will include:
-supervision of inventory reconciliation, cycle counts processes, physical
inventories, inventory adjustments and data integrity.
-Develop and manage processes for the accurate and timely recording and
reporting of inventory transactions (Raw Materials, Work-In-Process and
Finished Goods.
-Analyze inventory variances and work with various process owners to reduce
the financial impact of variances and adjustments.
-Play a key role in assisting Company inventory cycle operations to achieve
an appropriate balance between often-conflicting objectives regarding:
order Fulfillment, inventory turns, inventory accuracy, distribution
throughout and carrying costs.
The Senior Inventory Control Analyst will report to the Inventory Control
Must be able to analyze and develop procedures. Requires accurate and
efficient record keeping and verification of inventory changes. Must have
the ability to train and direct the work of others.
5-7 years applying accounting experience in inventory control analysis in
the distribution, retail, or manufacturing sectors.
Bachelor s degree in logistics, supply chain, accounting, engineering or
related field.
Strong understanding of the relationship between inventory
transactions/balances and their impact on the Financial Statements.
Strong analytical, negotiation, project management and presentation skills.
Acute attention to detail and accuracy in performance of documentation and
data preparation.
Knowledge of AS400 and advanced excel are key requirements for this role.
