Babich & Associates - Dallas
Right now I'm really focused on technical designers for Dallas and Phoenix.
I'm very fine with an interior designer being in a technical role if that
is their passion! I don't want to place a frustrated designer in a
technical design role where they are not the lead designer on a project.
This position is one that requires Revit knowledge and a desire to produce
excellent technical design documents (Design Development set / Construction
Documents) as well as participate in CA.
Here's a brief description of what we need from a technical design role:
5 - 7 years of experience
CAD / Revit proficient
Other software skills include SketchUp, Photoshop, MS Word, Excel, & MS
Experience in multi-family, senior living, healthcare or high-end
Able to multi-task & prioritize
Has good technical design skills and knowledgeable about construction
materials / methods
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Construction Administration experience required (RFI responses, Submittal
reviews, job meetings & communication with Contractors)
Not necessarily an ARCHITECT or in the IDP program to become an architect.
I'm fine with an ID if they are excited by the technical design process.
