Administrative Assistant, ROW/Safety
Supervisor Safety Manager
Essential Job Functions:
*Track all safety training for company
*Maintain Computer Based Training reports and tracking
*Maintain OSHA 300 logs
*Monitor and Maintain Drug and Alcohol Program
*Maintain control of documents on company intranet
*Maintain Safety files
*Conduct new hire safety orientations.
*Schedule annual plant wide audiometric testing evaluations and maintain
*Refers ill/injured personnel to appropriate health care facilities.
*Train CPR/First Aid
*Train H2S Awareness
*Train PSM Awareness
*Coordinate Travel and Scheduling for Safety Group
*Travel up to 15% of time
*Enter Land, easement and obligation parameters into EPI system.
*Maintain document files for ROW and related agreements
*Read and interpret easements and land documents
*Handle check requests for ROW acquisitions and obligation payments.
*Maintain surveillance over obligations
*Compile spreadsheets and technical reports for ROW Manager and project
*Assist engineering staff in preparation of procedures.
*Assist project engineers in preparing project schedules and project costs
*Support project managers in compiling Job Books for projects.
*Gather and compile engineering and operating data necessary to
design/engineer facilities and projects.
*Provide support as requested for Procurement Manager, Environmental
Manager and GIS staff.
*Oversee and maintain technical drawings and engineering records
Education and Experience:
*Five (5) years of applicable experience or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
*General knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to OSHA, safety and
*Assistant will ensure maintenance of accurate records and files and
maintenance of equipment and supplies.
*Basic knowledge of Workers' Compensation guidelines and OSHA standards.
*Working knowledge of MS Office programs, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and
*Ability to effectively communicate with employees. Must possess strong
verbal and written communication skills.
*Ability to complete Workers' Compensation injury and illness documentation.
*Able to sit/work at a desk for extended periods of time doing tasks such
as analytical work or reports which require focus while utilizing a
*Additional Preferred Qualifications:
*Associate in Science or certificate program in Health and Safety is
*Ability to work with ReqLogic system.
*Effective in written and oral communications.
*High school diploma or equivalent.
