JOB POSITION: Assistant Vice President - Divestitures (Dallas, Houston, San
Antonio, Austin, Tulsa)

Immediate positions available with Business Brokerage Firm headquartered in
Dallas/Ft. Worth, with additional offices located in Houston, San Antonio,
Austin, Tulsa, and Oklahoma City. The firm offers a variety of professional
business services to business owners and entrepreneurs, which include:
Mergers & Acquisitions; Divestitures (the Sale of a Businesses); Investment
Banking; Consulting and Commercial Real Estate.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Firm is seeking to fill positions in its Divestiture
Department, which is responsible for successfully identifying profitable
businesses for sale. The position is mainly about marketing to business
owners and then instilling confidence in them that you are the right choice
to help them sell what may be their life's work. Your goal is to succeed
and get the listing contract. The position requires persistence, a
highly-organized approach, and a solid understanding of business
strategies, organizations and financials. You must have high ethical and
professional standards, be a confident, creative problem-solver, a team
player, and a networker. You must have good communication and writing
skills, organized, detail oriented, ethical, and have good people skills.
The ideal candidate has the following skills:

Good organizational and time management skills
Sales experience
Bachelor's degree in a business related discipline
Strong work ethic
Highest levels of integrity and character
Desire to make high income
Prior business owner experience a plus
Comfortable working in a commission only position with high commission
COMPENSATION: You must be driven to earn a high annual income but have the
flexibility to go without any income for 3 to 8 months. The sales cycle is
relatively long and you must be prepared to get through this ramping-up
period. Ideal candidates are retired business owners or executives that
wish to work full- or part-time, and to have something to do and supplement
their income. The minimum gross commission on each deal is $40k and the
ideal candidate will earn 20% of the gross commission. The firm charges
12-15% success fee on all transactions, based on the listing price. All
positions are 100% commission-based. All agents are independent contractors
and responsible for their own benefits. New business intermediaries must
have sufficient resources to carry themselves through the training and
start-up phase.
