Job Title: Director - H.R. Customer Service Center
Description/Notes: ROLE AND PURPOSE: Responsible for the Human Resources
Customer Service Center with duties to include: responding to employee
inquiries on policy and procedure, new hire orientation, file maintenance,
verifications of employment, systems entries, background verifications,
certifications and records, etc.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
I. HR Customer Service Center Management
A. Manage the HR Customer Service Center team to provide exemplary service
to A.I.S.D. employees.
B. Provide direction on work assignments, priorities and goals of the HR
customer Service Center.
C. Train staff members on policy, procedure, new hire orientation, file
maintenance, certification of employment processes, system entry and
maintenance, background verifications, certifications and records.
D. Participate in day to day work load with direct team members as needed
to meet customer service expectations.
E. Manage and produce data on themes of customer service inquiries and
recommend systems improvements for continuous improvement.
F. Act as a Senior Team Member of the Human Resources Department leadership
and support other functions as directed or needed.
II. SCHOOL/ORGANIZATION CLIMATE
A. Professional office environment, as well as professional representation
of the District with internal customers.
III. SCHOOL/ORGANIZATIONAL IMPROVEMENT
A. Implement actions to drive continuous improvement to response time and
quality of information provided to internal customers. Monitor and drive
continuous improvement to internal Human Resources systems.
B. Develop and execute innovative customer service and management
methodologies to improve the efficiency of the overall Human Resources
IV. ADMINISTRATION AND FISCAL/FACILITIES MANAGEMENT
A. Manage district-wide campus staffing initiatives including surplus
identification and placement, as well as headcount leveling to identified
B. Manage the appropriate maintenance of the Human Resources Information
System (HRIS). Ensure professional and timely data entry and communication
of data with other administrative functions as appropriate.
C. Coordinator of data flow between Human Resources and Payroll.
V. SCHOOL/COMMUNITY RELATIONS
A. Maintain active liaisons with internal customer groups and campuses to
understand customer satisfaction and needs.
VI. PROFESSIONAL GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT
A. Content expert on knowledge of applicable federal and state employment
laws, employee onboarding strategies and procedures
B. Continually develop analytical skills to utilize data for more effective
HR Customer Service strategies
A. Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Assistant Superintendent
of Human Resources
* Bachelor's Degree required with an emphasis in Human Resources or
* Seven (7) years previous experience administration or management of a
department or campus for a school district.
Salary Range: Minimum - $95,309 annually
