The Director of Human Resources will oversee the organization's human
resource practices and ensure compliance with applicable standards and
regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
 Directs and monitors all functions of the Human Resources Department,
including hiring, performance reviews, leave administration, and use of
interns as well as oversees the employment process of all personnel of
Catholic Charities and directly supervises HR team members.
 Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment requirements,
applicable COA policies, and alignment with agency values and philosophies.
 Responsible for the updating of policies and procedures and the
streamlining of HR processes of the agency as needed and making sure
compliance for governmental regulations and best practices are met.
 Assist in development, monitoring, and ensuring success of agency
training programs.  Provides mentoring/coaching to supervisors of the
agency in better management of human resources.
Serves as employee relations advisor.  Acts as the agency representative
in regard to employment law issues and liaison to the agency attorneys
on matters needing more specialized attention.  Maintains HRIS and
coordinates the preparation of employment reporting and statistics. 
Maintains agency compensation plan and performance management system. 
Manages the employment benefits for the agency. Responsible for the
negotiation of insurance benefits and
plan compliance.  Performs special projects and analysis as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS  Bachelor's Degree in Management, Business or related
subject and at least five years of experience or a
combination of education and experience.  At least two years experience
supervising professionals required.  Ability to understand and work with
HRIS systems.  PHR certification (SPHR preferred).  Experience with
non-profit agency preferred.
WORK HOURS AND LOCATION Regular office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.,
Monday thru Friday. Due to the responsibility of the position, work on the
weekends or after hours is needed occasionally.
