Marketing Supervisor

Marketing Supervisor

Homesavers Foundation Repair, Inc. is looking for a self-motivated
marketing supervisor. The Marketing Supervisor will utilize strategic
marketing skills to assist the Vice President / COO with overall business
initiatives including business development, marketing communications,
internal communications, website management, online communications, public
relations, and general support. Responsible for designing, creating, and
delivering marketing programs to support the growth and expansion of
products and services. Develops sales collateral, help drive key marketing
reports based on information collected such as marketing trends,
competition, new products, and pricing. Also responsible for Public
Relations and Lead Generation activities heavily involved with executing
media relations/communication initiatives to increase Homesavers brand
exposure and creating and managing lead generation programs with the goal
of increasing new business opportunities.

Business Development

Provide general support of business development initiatives. To include:
Write, edit, and produce proposals, bios and marketing packets
Develop and maintain a contact management database
Coordinate business development/networking events
Collaborate with leadership to create and manage internal and external
integrated marketing strategies
Provide support for sponsorship and speaking engagements
Attend BBB functions, real estate functions and other industry functions
Create, maintain and meet goals of business development initiative for lead
swapping and real estate professionals
Manage BBB marketing, on-line presence and all BBB correspondence
Marketing Communications

Manage all the marketing communications details and materials. To include:
Write, edit and design newsletters, presentations, brochures, invitations,
flyers and other collateral materials
Manage the supply of marketing materials, including letterhead, envelopes,
folders, etc.
Manage external vendors, including working closely with printers
Website and Online Communications

Serve as point person for regular website maintenance and management of
online content. To include:

Update and maintain fresh contenton all designated social media sites
Write, edit, design and manage e-mail marketing initiatives, including
client alerts, news/announcements, and newsletters: track and monitor
Maintain and enhance social media initiatives, including LinkedIn,
Facebook, on-line directories and Twitter
Manage external vendors, including working closely with web developers
Monitor and report online sentiment for crisis management response.
Research emerging platforms and trends and make recommendations for use
Possess expert knowledge of social media networking channels and a solid
understanding of the social media space and best practices.
Events and Exhibits

Responsible to help plan, manage the logistics for, coordinate the
activities around and execute our tradeshows and events for marketing our
products and services in support of Homesavers marketing and sales goals.

In this role you will support the following activities:

* Work with the marketing team to plan and execute booth layout and
logistics for exhibits, tradeshows, conferences and events.
* Responsible for ordering and coordination of all show services required
for events and communicates directly with vendors for catering, printing,
equipment rental, labor, etc.
* Determine appropriate equipment and products needed for the exhibit, and
organizes the packing, shipping and ordering of any necessary materials
* Execute events onsite by supervising booth set-up and teardown,
maintaining booth appearance and operations, organizing staff and handling
any onsite issues that arise
* Coordinate and communicate directly with internal teams about event
logistics (booth duty schedules, housing confirmations, etc.)
* Assist in tracking of tradeshow budgets and leads
* Work with exhibit house to coordinate equipment/property needs and show
services for events
* Negotiate contracts, book event/meeting space, manage housing
arrangements and hotel contracts
* Manage and organize onsite inventory of tradeshow materials
* Manage, maintain and recommend continuous improvements for all shows and
booth assets. Remain current on new trends in exhibit properties

Internship Supervisor

Providing a clear job/project description for the work experience
Orienting students to the organization, its "culture" and the work
Assisting students in developing and achieving personal learning objectives
Hosting an onsite visit from the faculty supervisor sometime during the
work term
Offering feedback to the student on a regular basis
Completing formal written evaluations at the end of the internship
Event Planning

Coordinate, plan and execute events with clients, prospects, firm leaders
and employees. Interact with colleagues across marketing, sales and other
departments to consistently extend the Homesavers brand.
Plan and execute events from concept through execution and follow-up
Coordinate employee-centered firm-wide events
Coordinate event logistics, including location, registration, presentation
and materials support
Manage and coordinate logistics including timeline, flow and participation
Coordinate and monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met
Present creative ideas and solutions
Schedule pre-event and post-event meetings
Research and reserve venues
Select chefs or catering companies to prepare and provide food and drinks
Organize setup and cleanup of events
Adhere to budget parameters
Track expenses for each event and ensure timely payment of invoices
Maintain supplies and inventory
Attend all sponsored and hosted events
Experience and Skills:

Education and Experience

Associates degree or higher, preferably in Marketing or Business or 3-5
years of progressive experience in a related role
Minimum 2 + years of tradeshow and event planning experience in a
tradeshow/event coordination role, preferred
Project management experience a plus
Marketing experience, required
A general understanding of web development project management, search
marketing (paid and organic) and email marketing, including how these
elements help promote campaign messages to drive conversion
Strong working knowledge of social media and media relations tactics,
tools, communities and sites
Experience in managing communications and media relations campaigns,
oversight and timelines
Lead generation campaign management
Prior experience in negotiating hotel, meeting space, rental and events
Prior supervisory experience a plus
Construction, in-home sales and other home improvement experience is a plus
Communication Skills

Displays excellent oral and written communication skills
Maintains open lines of communication with other team members, staff,
managers, and Partners
Knowledge and Technical Skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Experience with e-mail marketing tools (ex: Emma, Constant Contact)
Must possess excellent editing, proofreading, spelling and grammar skills.

This position will require travel
Some travel will be on the weekends during the fall and spring trade show
Some marketing and business development events will be at night
