Avention has an exciting opportunity for New Business Development Managers
based in Dallas, Austin, or Houston. We are looking for someone who is
passionate about what they do and is driven to succeed.

As a New Business Development Manager, this position is responsible for
identifying new business opportunities and generating sales revenue. This
position is also responsible for developing key client relationships
through the sales process.

Job Requirements

Responsible for identifying new business by selling into assigned
territories.
Develop key client relationships.
Develop expertise on assigned clients and their business.
Grow sales typically through consultative selling with significant revenue
targets.
Meet or exceed sales budget and for the delivery of service to meet the
clients expectations.
Build effective partnership relationships with key individuals including
the decision-makers within the appropriate segments.
Manage expenses wisely.
Develop and update of the monthly forecast.
Manage client expectations while working to create a feeling of mutual
respect between the Company and the client.
Direct programs from start to finish, including obtaining cost estimates,
preparing contracts, and developing procedures to assist in the
organization of information (critical paths, status reports).
Communicate client objectives and be able to translate difficult as well as
technical needs to sales support for the successful execution of the
program.
Maintain extensive knowledge of all Company products, services, and systems
to successfully service and cultivate accounts.
Take initiative to enhance knowledge of the relevant vertical market
industry.
Travel 10 to 25% of time.

Must be able to handle difficult situations; make decisions, sometimes with
incomplete information; and deliver unfavorable news in a professional,

manner.

Education, Experience, and Certification

Bachelor's Degree in related field of study or equivalent required.
7 plus years experience selling corporate software, cloud-based software,
data intelligence products or BI/CI product is required.
Proven track record of performance.
