Regional Director Sales and Marketing
Are you a dynamic sales leader and coach with a strong track record in
driving senior living occupancy?
We seek a degreed Sales & Marketing professional who has 5 years of
experience in a senior living sales and/or marketing position, multi-site
management and assisted living/memory care experience preferred, to fill
our REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF SALES & MARKETING position for our compassionate,
faith based, non-profit assisted living communities. This position will
support communities in Missouri, Nebraska, and Texas. At Bethesda Senior
Living Communities, it is our mission to provide excellent customer service
delivery to seniors and their families with care that meets the specific
needs of the residents, and a community environment that is "home."
The Regional Director of Sales & Marketing will be responsible in
cooperation with the Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing to drive
occupancy through development, execution and leadership of outreach, sales
and marketing strategies that supports BSLC's Mission and Purpose. Core
competencies to include sales coaching and teaching; persuasive
communication skills; development of strategic relationships;
results-driven; operational decision-making; sales team development;
business acumen; skilled CRM analysis to drive results. Oversee that the
company brand and image is maintained through marketing materials,
advertising, social media, community websites, and outreach efforts.
Duties and responsibilities
Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, results
and provide feedback to leadership.
Collaborates with Marketing and Sales Directors to develop and implement
region-wide and company-wide strategies which generate new leads and
advance existing leads. Supports communities in developing and executing a
winning sales and marketing strategyProvides face to face coaching with
Marketing and Executive Directors to improve census.
Identifies key issues and provides training to marketers to continuously
improve performance and occupancy.
Understands competitive opportunities and threats. Tracks and evaluates
BSLC's product relevant to the competition annually.
Ensures communities are consistently executing standards that support
BSLC's mission and increases ability to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
Partners with Executive Directors to assess talents, needs, and development
opportunities for their communities. Interviews prospective marketing and
sales directors for communities and makes recommendations to the Executive
Directors.
Fully comprehends and explains to marketing and sales directors the basic
legal aspects of sales contracts/language and terms.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing preferred and 5 years of experience in a
senior living sales and/or marketing position.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills to communicate with
corporate leadership, Executive Directors, Marketing and Sales Directors,
residents, family members, referral sources, department leaders, and line
staff.
Must be able to demonstrate ability to manage outsourced marketing activity
for multiple sites including public relations, advertising and website.
Knowledge of senior care market in each area of responsibility.
Skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Power Point,
Outlook, CRM database and ability to work with other marketing related
software.
Excellent decision making abilities regarding financial and budget issues,
marketing, and people development.
Ability to facilitate group presentations and training.
Position requires approximately 50-60% overnight travel by air and/or
automobile occasionally in extreme weather conditions.
