Sales Manager

Our client, a worldwide leader in manufacturing and service for the Oil &
Gas industry, is seeking to hire a Sales Manager before year-end! This is
a DIRECT HIRE opportunity!

Job Summary -
Major responsibility is for the sale of company's Composite Piping products
in an assigned geographic territory for the Oil & Gas markets - Fort
Worth/Oklahoma

(Note - Although this position can work from home, ideally, the successful
candidates will either currently live or be willing to re-locate in the
designated sales territory.)

Maintain customer account responsibility for both direct and distribution
sales; supervises, instructs, and motivates a distributor network involved
in selling, installing, and servicing company products; locates and
recommends new distributors, generates and maintains sufficient sales
volume to meet or exceed established quotas while operating within an
established budget.

Major Responsibilities -
Contact customers and prospects within an assigned sales territory for the
purpose of sales and service of company products
Business development within the territory to cultivate new customers in the
market
Instructs distributors, contractors, and customers' concerning product
applications; conducts seminars; makes technical presentations; performs
product usage and installation demonstrations; calls on customers directly
and/or with distributors
Searches for new product applications and reports discoveries
Assists in investigations of product complains, reviews reports and assists
customers and distributors in finding satisfactory solutions to sales and
service problems
Remain current in knowledge of competitive activities, including product
lines, pricing, services, and market penetration; reports significant
activities to management
Assist in establishing realistic sales quota for he assigned district;
generates and maintains volume to meet or exceed established quota; prepare
sales forecasts

Qualifications -
University degree with an emphasis on Engineering, Physical Science,
Marketing, or Business Administration
3 to 5 years of relevant sales experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Valid driver's license with a history of safe driving
Ability to be away from home for multiple days/nights
