System Support Specialist
LMS
Requisition Notes:
Project Type - This is an immediate 3 month contract position, with some
potential for short term project extension. Please only submit candidates
that are interested in immediate project assignment with short term
potential with the client in Plano.
Experienced Candidates - Should have prior support experience with tier 2
and tier of Commercial Learning Management Systems. Experience with
SumTotal is preferred.
Additional Qualifications - Must have proven systems support skills, strong
customer service background and familiarity with related support systems,
(Remedy). Candidates should also have a high level of attention to detail.
Candidate Availability - Candidates should be available for immediate
consideration and potential project start ASAP
Duties:
Develop strong relationships with LMS Super users (community of practice)
and with the vendor support team to facilitate high availability of LMS
through consistently applying defined SLA's, policies, processes and
procedures.
Implement defined standards and processes consistently to
effectively/efficiently manage learning data across the globe.
Develop strong consultative relationship with LMS vendor for technical
support
Complete assigned LMS administration access activities, per defined
processes policies and procedures to ensure overall data integrity is
maintained
Provide technical support via the vendor LMS admin team and ensure key
repetitive issues are identified and addressed.
Analytics and reporting
Participate in the LMS community of practice to ensure guidelines,
standards and best practices are implemented consistently.
Support training initiatives in support of Quality Management Systems
(QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory
requirements coordinating with Ops SME's
Requirements:
Qualifications - Requirements:
BA degree in Business, Training, Information Technology or related field
3+ years of exposure to learning management systems
Experience managing vendor requests and issue management processes and
tools (Remedy)
Current experience with commercial Learning Management Systems (SumTotal),
Preferred
Excellent communication, organization, problem solving and customer
service skills. Able to bridge communication between technical areas and
business areas for a full and complete understanding of expectations
Experience with systems and data management
Experience working with e-learning technology such as: Captivate, Lectora,
Articulate, Flash, Adobe E-learning suite, HTML, Dreamweaver
Detail oriented, self-motivated, with good project management skills
Willingness and interest in cross-functional collaboration and consulting
Experience with high visibility and/or global programs and projects
Strong interpersonal skills- develop and maintain relationships
