Sr. Security Engineer

Title: Sr. SIEM Security Engineer

BA or BS degree in CS, IT, EE, Applied Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Information Security Certifications, including Security+, GIAC Certified Incident Handler (CIH), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
Experience with deploying, configuring, or using log management and SIEM tools, including Splunk, LogRythym, McAfee ESM, IBM QRadar, and ArcSight Logger and ESM
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Key Role:
Work with clients to determine their log management and SIEM needs, evaluate the client's existing systems, if any, develop a plan to fulfill the client's needs given available resources, and execute that plan. Evaluate log and SIEM needs, including the development of use cases to address specific risks faced by the client, taking into consideration potential data sources in the client's environment. Fulfill the client's needs, deploy new systems, migrate to different systems, upgrade existing systems, or create content for systems in place. Interact with the client's security analysts, engineers, and data source owners. This position will require travel depending on client needs, must be available for up to 95%.
